That Sky Movies logo is awful, and the Sky Arts logo isn't much better.

Hmm - there's more than a distinct whiff of Fox in that new Movies logo.

A shame they've not taken the opportunity to change the awful Sky 'onc' , 'tuo' and 'thrcc' logos.

I dislike the stacked SKY News logo, it doesn't work in the same way as it does currently. I'd imagine it'll look better on screen, but it is more effective as a horizontal logo.

The Movies one is rubbish, and so is the Arts one, they look like something off of the 90s.

I noticed the same in the Movies Thread.

I can't see the point of mixing up the different SKY and sky logos. It doesn't do much for the consistency of the brand image.

I suppose it only so they can do sky A RTS with the tail of the 'y'.

Still no excuse.

SKY is for Channels, sky is for service - this was the case until now.

I get the feeling they were thinking of FOX when designing Sky Movies.

Sky Arts looks very dated. The artsworld branding looks far superior IMO.

Of course it's no excuse, its a rubbish logo for a TV channel, and I would never try to defend it... Wink
