Mr D'Arcy
I don't understand ITV's logic with this one at all.

Why would Antony Cotton be a ideal chat show host? Why do they always go through this constant circle of failure? Z List Celeb/ITV Soap actor or presenter is asked onto a cheap reality show, they win, they are suddenly offered to host another show. Then the guest list for that show will include other Z List Celeb/ITV Soap actor or presenter.

MAKE IT STOP MR GRADE!

with it mainly being the sub-heading getting changed. This thread title has only been changed two or three times. However not recently. Thanks Andrew.

You've been told by dozens of members here that changing thread titles is confusing and annoying. How are people supposed to know what thread they have replied to?

Anyone who doesn't fully understand the extent of your activities only need search for all the threads you have started. In one case you edited your opening post nearly 30 times.

How many times do you need to be asked to leave the fookin titles alone?

You are beyond annoying now. I'm going to boycott any of your new threads from now on, and I hope those other members who you annoy will do the same.

How do you like them apples?

SOAPSTAR Superstar winner Antony Cotton had double reason to celebrate yesterday — after being offered his own chatshow.

ITV1 chiefs approached the gay actor on Saturday following his victory on the show.

They want Antony, 31, to host a Paul O’Grady-style teatime show — AND carry on in Corrie.

A close source said: “Some of the top suits were at the show and spoke to Antony afterwards.

“They asked if he’d be interested in hosting a show and, of course, he jumped at the chance. He doesn’t want to leave Corrie but would love to take on this other project if he can fit them both in. It shows how popular he is.”

The ITV1 bosses are now deciding if Antony — who plays Sean Tully in Corrie — should have a weekday 5pm slot against Channel 4’s Paul O’Grady, or a Saturday evening programme.

taken from The New Paul O'Grady Show, forums!

ITV are desperate, first Bradley now Anthony! Shocked

The irony is that Antony Cotton is just like Paul O'Grady IMO.... a camp entertainer with a waspish wit! I do like AC, but I think he is better suited to being Sean on Coro rather than doing a POG copy-cat show.

I'm not sure about Antony Cotton's Generation Game though Confused Laughing

He is on Coronation Street, as mentioned in that thread alot. People probably do like him in general but are probably getting a bit bored of him with being on the Soap and Soapstar Superstar. Adding this rumoured chat show, if it happened would probably be a bit too much of him for some people in the public.

Well he would have to leave Corrie surely if he did one of these shows. They already work long hours filming a 5 episodes a week soap, especially all the episodes he does.
