Well the latest name in the frame for a 5pm chat show is now Antony Cotton, straight from his success in Soapstar Superstar.
Apparently the next Paul O'Grady.

Well, a lot of the over-hyped shows turn out to be crap, perfect example being the Sharon Osbourne Show. My money is on the next chat show failing miserably. I'm Ronnie by the way, nice to meet you

Oh for goodness sake ITV. Get a grip.

Antony Cotton's Generation Game LOL!
I must admit it's nice to see an out gay actor doing so well. It's strange that, even in this day and age, actors and presenters still hide their sexuality!

SOAPSTAR Superstar winner Antony Cotton had double reason to celebrate yesterday — after being offered his own chatshow.
ITV1 chiefs approached the gay actor on Saturday following his victory on the show.
They want Antony, 31, to host a Paul O’Grady-style teatime show — AND carry on in Corrie.
A close source said: “Some of the top suits were at the show and spoke to Antony afterwards.
“They asked if he’d be interested in hosting a show and, of course, he jumped at the chance. He doesn’t want to leave Corrie but would love to take on this other project if he can fit them both in. It shows how popular he is.”
The ITV1 bosses are now deciding if Antony — who plays Sean Tully in Corrie — should have a weekday 5pm slot against Channel 4’s Paul O’Grady, or a Saturday evening programme.
