Yes, it was very dark. I watched the episode on the PVR on Saturday morning and had to close the curtains so I could see what was happening.

Carla's an interesting addition. I know it's not uncommon for actors to move from one soap to another, but is she the first from 'Cleaner Close' in Corrie? Wink

It barely clashes anyway. I think the BBC have cottoned on so most times EastEnders just starts when Corrie ends. But I do agree, it's incredibly petty.

BBC would probabaly do the same. They are just as petty as ITV.

They do!


Although clashing with EastEnders is no coincidence, I think the real reason is probably more due to their being no adverts during and after Tonight, meaning there are a few minutes to spare.

Also, ITV1 can only show 12 minutes of ads during the 7pm hour - pushing the shows back allows them to use some of their quota from the 8pm hour too.

Oh believe me, I know. I've seen they're moving the SCD results against ITV's new show Extinct next week.

I thought it was the top-hatted lady from the Daz ads Laughing

To be fair there was no artificial lighting around the viaduct, only moonlight-- so I don't suppose the crew couldn't light Jamie and Danny up too much.

As for Norris, without Emily turning the sitting-room light on, the only light in the lounge would be from the streetlamps outside-- so it would be dim in their lounge I think.

Personally I had no problems vieweing these scenes, but I think producers ought to cut down on the nocturnal scenes for a while. It is Coro after all-- not the X-Files Laughing

Is it just me who thinks that Gail buying David a car either for Christmas or his Birthday - not sure which as they're the same! - is ridiculous?

I suppose it is, but then again i think this could start another storyline for David - joyriding and end up killing a character?

No more ridiculous than a lot of things that happen in soaps!
