"Al-Jazeera's English-language channel has suffered a further setback, with its launch delayed until September at the earliest," the U.K. Guardian reports.

The centres (in London, Doha, Kuala Lumpur and Washington) "are still not finished," and "it is understood executives at the channel are becoming increasingly fed up with the slow pace of progress."

The paper quotes a source who says: Staff are extremely frustrated, as is the management, who are tearing their hair out at the innefficiency of support staff."

So, on Astra digital you can see promos for the new Al-Jazeera network. Has anyone some caps of the promos or videos for the pc? That would be great. Thanks

And I hope they will decide to start earlier than September. So, what are the exact problems?

I like the music in the promo. At the very end where they have the aljazeera logo, you can hear some very bbcesque blips. Did Lowe do it?

Have they confirmed a new launch date yet? I've heard they could start broadcasting as soon as next month, up until the start of september!
