This thread is rapidly approching its half century.. 50 pages of more-or-less solid Welsh-related nonsense
Yeah and we have passed the 500th post in this thread mark too! LOL I think about 50% of the posts I make are in this thread!
I just did a quick search of my posts, and there are 225 of them currently STILL on the forum! Most of them are bound to be in this thread, so that's more than half of mine!

I post a lot in the Crossroads and Corrie thread too so I reackon 50% in this thread. But yes I reackon you and me have made 90% of the posts in this thread!
HTV and ITV1 Wales are the only Welsh telly that interest me really - I dont mind S4C but its mainly HTV I talk about!
Edit - 8.15am
Ive just seen Richard on the HTV News and yes he does look awkward behind that desk and of course he didnt smile, he looked like he was glaring at us behind that desk. Fingers crossed for Justina tommorow as maybe Andrew is taking another week off (a bit hopeful!)

Just seen HTV News. Justina did a report on a carpark at Cardiff Hospital - there was no parking space for one of the surgeons this morning which resulted in a heart op being cancelled as the surgeon was so stressed after driving around for 1 hr looking for a space.
The weather was done by James (and yes I agree he isnt very specific when he is pointing at stuff), Ruth Wignell did a report on how well behaved fans were at Cardiff yesterday when Manchester Utd took on Liverpool. Only 29 arrests were made.
And apparently there was a tornado in one of the South Wales Valley town's on Saturday!
No sign of Zeta Evan-Douglas-Jones-Williams - havent seen her for over a week - maybe she is on hols or perhaps she has left!!!!
Late news is at 11.20 tonight - Jon and Lucy never said who was doing it - so damn we'll have to wait to find out

I caught one bulletin with Richard this morning, before losing the will to stay awake any longer..
That was Monday's news hour then. Funny that HTV News carried a disappointed story about BMI Baby, only for the weather following to be sponsored by them!
Ruth's report was out of vision as usual, but Justina was there -- I think she must be very short, did you see how high she had to stretch to put the coins in the machine at Cardiff Uni Hospital! The equivalent story on Wales Today was with Siân Lloyd, who had a very nice red car!
Bad news for Pembrokeshire, since their house prices have gone up by a third, the highest in Wales, pricing out the locals.. The houses average £100 000 now.
Wales Today were discussing the 80 years of BBC broadcasting from Wales, with a report on it, including Anthony Hopkins -- hmm, the man who denounced his citizenship and has just got married in Malibu..
Jamie linked over to the sport meanwhile, to Bob, who he said "was there at the start.." !
LOL, I think he meant back in 1964, rather than 80 years ago..
Meanwhile Jamie made it in time to the gallery, for the report on Welsh broadcasting, and then back to the studio during the weather [Derek is back -- ray!], without looking at all out of breath..
There is a programme about the 80 years of broadcasting from Wales tonight at 8pm on BBC 2W, followed by Max Boyce in concert [
] at 8.20. Wales Today are carrying their "Royal Television Society -- Best Regional Daily News Programme" award strap on their end production info, below the screen with the dragon -- always a good thing.
And X-Ray started immediately afterwards, at about 6:58
.
Hmm, then it is a BBC Wales programme, can do what they want, separate from Network.

Did anyone see ITV Weather person - Sian Lloyd present the weather today?
She looked as if she had a VERY good St David's Day and was still sufferring today on air!
Hope she's back to normal later in the week!

LOL yes I noticed that BMI baby was mentioned on HTV News - and Nick Partridge was interviewing an angry passenger - well you cant blame them from being angry lol
Yes I like Ruth better when she is out of vision - nothing against her anymore just dont really go for blondes (men or women) which is why I like Justina, Juliet, Lucy etc. But I have to say Ruth's hair does suit blonde - did you see her when she dyed it? No wonder she had that hat on when she was switching on the Xmas lights or whatever, that time.
Yes I noticed Justina - she is one of the best, if not THE best reporter HTV have! They should snap her up as the relief presenter for the 6pm programme should Lucy ever leave, Juliet would be the main presenter of course.
So is Ruth's job officially reporting on HTV News towards the start of the week and then the weather at the end of the week?

The Wales Today gallery is more or less next door to the studio. Out of the studio doors, down the corridor a bit, through some double doors, and the gallery is on the left.
Last year while the gallery was being refurbished, they used a mobile gallery (in the back of a lorry!) just outside the studio - A very tight squeeze, and it was just myself and one other person in there!

Yep yep!
Hill: Were you in this lay-by outside Bath yesterday morning?
Davies: I haven't been to Bath for many years
Hill: It's 9 miles outside of Bath
Davies: I don't know about this lay-by
Hill: The lay-by is on the M4, 9 miles from Bath
Davies: I don't know which lay-by you're referring to
Hill: It's a lay-by on the junction of the M4 and A46, 9 miles outside of Bath
Davies: I don't know what lay-by you're referring to
Hill: So you'll naturally sue then?
Davies: Well.. I'm currently thinking about going into discussion about taking action..
Hill: So you might not sue?
Davies: Well...
*Ron Davies gets handed a spade*
So erm, what were those pictures of him exiting a bush with a random man then, hmm? Easy to see how Jonathan is an award-winning news presenter.
