Oh for gpds sake Guys all I said was Maesteg is QUITE near to PT and Swansea. It does not take 1 hr im sure as if you go along the M4 from swansea to PT and then cut accross it probabaly takes 50 mins at the most.

God do people enjoy winding me up of something Confused:

Jez, Jez -- stop taking it personally! It really does depend which end of Swansea you're coming from. I've never lived in Sainsbury's or on the A483, or anywhere that's dead close to the motorway. If you've ever heard of Killay -- it's on the far west of Swansea, and is on the way to the Gower. You're lucky to get to the M4 in 20-25mins from there, so realistically you're not gonna get to Maesteg in an hour from Killay!

No-one's winding you up. We're disagreeing, which is quite different.

Oh yes She does - The last few times I've seen Sarah in and around the capital, she has a Mercedes convertable!

I think that's another Ident I haven't seen. Do you happen to have any caps of it?

TV Home has the ident, calling it "Eye". It's used before the programme at 9pm on Sundays, and it's a bit twisted and bizarre. There are also 2 versions of it. Tomorrow it's Amdani, a few weeks ago it was Treflan.

Huw Edwards is seen driving around in a silver Mercedes estate, like the one pictured, only a different colour

I don't like estates, they look too bulky and long. Saying that my car is 14 ft long which is a bugger to park!

I wouldn't have a clue how to park that either! Oh yeah, and the small issue of not knowing how I'd afford one in the first place, but anyway.. Cars like that are wasted in the city -- it looks nice there twisting along a country road. And OMG, it's pictured driving on the left!

Wonder what car Sara Edwards has -- doesn't she show her face down your way, Jamez? I haven't seen her on WT for months..

Sara doesn't quite have the car you'd imagine her having. It's VERY old.

Oooo.. Big killer cat in Carmarthenshire -- Ha ha ha!
Well, everywhere's got a big cat now haven't they, it's the thing to have this season -- Gwent has one, and the one in Devon is doing more damage, it's been on Westcountry Live more that once that I've seen. Taking chunks out of horses..

Advice from Catherine Evan-Williams [she who never smiles] is not to leave the house, so if you live in west Carms, you're trapped! Laughing Oh, that makes me laugh..

My old primary school was on HTV News yesterday as well, cos the pipes have burst and they can't go back till Friday.. Rolling Eyes

It'd be nice if Cardiff could win Capital of Culture for 2008 though. Wonder what Wales Today have to say about the big cat. It's breeding as well, so there's probably two! Where do they come from?

Re: " Big Cat Watch -- Day 4 "

Wales Today and HTV News are taking the story *so* seriously, and it even got on to the National News at 6! Apparently, it only exists if the police see it, and now they have, they're mounting a 24-hour armed vigil in the country roads of Carmarthenshire. Dyfed-Powys Police *so* have too much time on their hands..

There's been another sighting, at 2am this morning at the Llangadog creamery, after he was caught "devouring a whippet" yesterday (LOL Laughing). The remains of the whippet has been sent off for tests. There's a little panther too!

"Are you sure it wasn't a dog?" -- "No, it wasn't a dog" -- "Oh, right then.." Rolling Eyes

Oh, and could Sara Edwards look any more bored as she did tonight? She's not been at work for ages and she still looks like she can't be arsed. Nice scarf though.. Confused

I notice they've been making a song and dance about a man on top of a pub in Aberafan who's been on the roof protesting about the removal of a giant model of a man Rolling Eyes

Well Juliet Piper revealed the earth-stopping news that the statue had been given a reprieve from being taken down [probably a very real overhead safety hazard to be honest, but hey it's tacky, so it *must* stay! Save our statue, save our statue...]

The councillor came and said it can stay, and he came down his ladder and talk to Juliet about his day.

Slow news day? Who said that?

I watched HTV News tonight, and god it is rubbish.

The studio is tatty and the music is annoying. Lucy Cohen sounds odd with her over-elecuted voice.

And Catherine Evan(s)-Williams is THE most miserable and boring reporter at HTV.

That story about the bloke protesting on a roof for a week was just so staged. How convienient that he decided to end his protest live on HTV News. The bloke who was on the roof looked remarkably clean seeing as he has spent 7 days sh!tting and p!ssing just 2 ft from his tent.

The sooner HTV News totally revamps its content and presentatio, the better - at the moment it's just a farce.

ITV National News is just poor too - that has a rubbish studio and awkward presentation style.

I was thinking about how tired the HTV News set is to be honest, but in fairness it's only been there less than 2 years still! Due for a revamp in March though methinks if history's anything to go by. Name change while we're there please bosses, Wales @ Six, ta.

I don't mind Lucy, since, apart from Tara Eugene, there aren't any other decent strong female anchors on the programme. I like Juliet Piper, Sally Johnson and Justina Simpson, they're just not as confident. And you won't hear anyone arguing with you about Catherine Evan-Williams winning the HTV Sour Cow award..
Sara Edwards on WT needs to cheer up a bit as well, unlike the constantly grinning Jamie. Thank God for Derek..

Of course the statue thing was staged -- the man could barely start going down the ladder before the councillor announced his decision. But the real news of the day was certainly the panther, and the hysteria the newsrooms have decided to generate. Hopefully, as we speak it's winding its way across to Ammanford to terrorise every resident in the town. Well, I can hope..
