buy-now tv is the next to join sit-up's portfolio of shopping channels. It differs from it's two auction channels, in that the price itself doesn't change during the presentation.
Well, doesn't quite change.
The channel takes the place of the various sales and clearances on the channel, being a year-round clearance of unsold products from it's other channels. The point is, they're being sold at a price seemingly lower than what they sold for at auction. This is illustrated by graphics showing prices the products went for on bid tv and price-drop tv (though they would probably just pick the highest selling prices they could find)
The studio has two presentation areas, that are loosely based around elements of the bid tv and price-drop tv studios. They alternate between presentation areas as on their other channels. The product is demonstrated, with a limited quantity and the selling price. The main gimmick of the channel is if all of the products are sold during the presentation are sold, then an extra 10% is slashed off the price - a 'sell out bonus'. If after an alloted time all products are not sold, they simply move onto the next presentation. The selling methods are on par with bid tv and price-drop tv - with emphasis on assistant banter, and what's coming up later.

This is where they start. The graphics appear and they move to whatever side. The arrows in the centre are an interesting specimen. They can either act as three strangely shaped screens for illustrating products and logos, or act as arrows that illuminate in a 1-2-3 fashion.

This illustrates one of the graphics that shows previous prices on their other channels. This shot is used when moving to the presentation area at the start or to the centre towards the end.

Similar graphic for price-drop on the main shot for pres-area left.

Whilst illustrating the other presentation area, here's what happens if all products are sold. There is an alarm sound and the graphics explode red, with a voiceover similiar to 'price lock'.

The host explains what happens next, as the 'sell out bonus' appears - knocking the reduction out of the price arrow.
