The whole picture looked too red to me.

Oh... and I thought it was ITN's turn, but the BBC made it this year. Have I got mixed up or could ITN not make it?

She also kept on fiddling with her ring when she was stood up as well.

ITN made it last year IIRC.

Yeah she was fiddling with her ring quite a lot, but I suppose if you've got to stand rigid with your hands together infront of you, you've got to do something!!

As to the hues, I thought too it was a little out of sorts - particularly as I'd set my TV to test card W t'other day - isn't it amazing what you can find on eBay!!

Speaking of which - how did TOTP get away with the terribly over-exposed pyrotechnic ending to Michelle McWhatsherface's performance? Was terrible. Couldn't see a thing!!

Just watched it on the BBC News online replay. She's looking old bless her. Its the only time of the year we see The Queen actually has a sense of humour!

The BBC always used to, but ITN produced their first one in 1997/8 ish - someone here will know which! From then on, the BBC and ITN have shared the production of The Queen.

Apparantly they alternate every 2 years. So ITN will make next years and the year after. It'll be 2007 before the BBC make The Queen's Speech again!
