Trust me! I am a controller for BBC Yorksire & Lincolnshire and yesterday me and John Price, my colleague received the national idents from London and made them into regional idents for use in Yorkshire & Lincolnshire (i.e. write Yorks & Lincs in the logo boxes). Fear not those who don't live in this region - I will be presenting the national ones!

thats charming isnt it - post the name of your colleague on this public forum, but hide behind a username yourself. you wait till i phone john on monday.

A quick IP check will no doubt reveal sky one unden (or whatever the kid's name is) in his latest guise...

BBC 1, as most of you already know, is finally axing the ridiculous "children-snowflake with a red sky" ident and replacing it with children dressed up bouncing on christmas puddings - designed by a 10 year old, who I bow to for having more sense than Lorraine Heggessey).

Do we know that, they are gettign a new christmas ident, but haven't saif anything about using it with the old one!

I regret to inform you that ITV1 is using the sparks around its logo yet again. Channel four will still be showing a christmas tree instead of the 4. It makes you want to cry doesn't it?

The ITV one will be diffrent though surely, after all their logo is diffrent this year,

1. A BBC Controller wouldn't have the time to write **** like that on a website like this. (Not dissing the site).

2. Clearly over obsessed by television!

3. Who is John Price then?

If you look, you will see I already revealed his real name as Paul Akinbola.

Could someone please delete this thread as it's just misleading rubbish?

By the way - the kind of person who spends their time creating such threads clearly needs to ask himself why he's doing it, and whether seeing a counsellor may help.

Indeed. Quite sad. A check of the IP reveals little but their email address showns he has previously posted in TV & Radio Bits guestbook too.

Thread definitely closed.
