Will Athens be ready in time? Ask Bobodolpoulos The Builder! But my BBC1 and BBC2 mocks for the Olympic Games are certainly ready and are presented herewith:

BBC1's ident is based on the current promo, but is also a nod to the 1984 ident with a central globe within the Olympic rings. The rings, I should point out, are not made from flames but human nerves - symbolising the test of stamina which the athletes will endure (I found the pic on a scientific site!)
As for BBC2 - the 2 shoots a blazing arrow upwards and the camera follows the fireball as it lands in the cauldron, igniting the Olympic flame. As the torch takes centre stage, the 2 admires his bullseye from the ground!
