Maybe that Central bloke wasn't available this week.

As said its only happened once, people read too much into stuff. The same happened that day when there were adverts within the Evening News!

Was Jonathan the 2-4pm co-presenter with Nick/Sasha on the News Channel today?

With respect - what am I "reading into"? I only gave an opinion (rightly or wrongly) based on what I saw when watching the regional and national news this afternoon.

If you look at my posting history, you'll see I actually contribute to this thread more than I do any other so I'm not quite sure where you're coming from.

No - it was like this:

1400 Nick Clark and Phil Gayle
1500 Sasha Herriman and Phil Gayle
1600 Sasha Herriman and Heather McCarthy

Jonathan was in the studio for a half-time update on the Cup Final though

It sounds like Angela's show might be live from Normandy the weekend after next.

It was nice to see John Nicolson presenting again this morning. He is wasted as Alastair's relief presenter. He should have a programme of his own on the News Channel.

And now Andrea Catherwood is about to make her debut on the relaunched News Channel.

Jonathan Wills with the sport on the 10.30 tonight by the way.

He must have been at ITN for more than 12 hours - he did all the daytime London Today bulletins, the main London Tonight programme and now the sport on the 10.30
