Masked Dancer is supposedly being stripped across a week but I think it would be much more useful once a week on Saturdays. I assume only the celeb Beat the Chasers episodes will air on Saturdays with the main series stripped again, but it is still an option I guess.

They haven't filmed The Masked Dancer yet so it's not going to be able to fill in in April.

What's the date on audiences being allowed back - is it April or later in summer?

May 17th for limited audiences but The Masked Dancer could easily cope without a live audience, they plan to film it in April.

If it’s being stripped over a week, then maybe they could do it live, the main show is usually filmed over a week anyway so they should still get the same calibre of guests.

Appears that 'It's Clarkson on TV' has become a series, starting Saturday nights in a couple of weeks.

On a recent Drive Tribe video Clarkson confirmed that he was recording a series for ITV, but he didn’t say if it was that, but I’m not surprised by it. He also confirmed that they’re due to record more Millionaire soon too.

It would be nice if they brought back some of the legacy regional names for their production companies, instead of all these random new names that have been introduced over the years.

Names like Granada, which has previously been a national brand for their productions, could easily be relaunched as a brand for example.

Another example is Shiver, which was rebranded as Multistory Media in 2019. Given it's based it Leeds, it could be rebranded as Yorkshire.

They have other production companies based in London, so they could potentially use names like LWT or Carlton.

It would be a good way for ITV to make the most of their heritage brands.

The names will have been decided by the people who are in charge of these units, ITV cannot force them to use names that have been redundant for almost two decades if they don't want them.

Besides, it doesn't make sense to use the old local brands if they're associated with the wrong programmes. For example, if they revived the Yorkshire Television brand, that doesn't mean it would be used on Emmerdale and Countdown (both of which currently have ITV Studios branding). And wasn't 63 Up by Multistory Media? Since 7 Up was part of World in Action, that franchise ought to be Granada, not Yorkshire.

Plus some of the names don't make sense anymore like LWT for example.

Suspect there is also one eye on any possible future sale of these production studios - having a brand that is somewhat disposable to ITV is probably better than using their heritage brands.

Haven't all the ITV-owned heritage trademarks lapsed now?
