Well I suppose its a bit of the Beverly Hills 90210 syndrome, the teenage witch must be about 30 by now!

Witches don't age that quickly - Sabrina's aunts are 400 aren't they?

Older than that, been said in the show before that they were apparently children in the 14th century.

Hey! I saw CiTV today and was wondering why the presenters don't appear until 4pm? Michael was good though, with even links between My Parents are Aliens.

Michael's never done that before, jump up before the commercials and jump back in again before roll VT. Hope he doesn't do it again either, thought it was annoying. Michael's got his own shows, stop trying to take over everything else, dammit!

Today's MPAA - I dunno, wasn't as good as previous. Hope its a one-off though. Were some good bits but not one of the best. Bet there'll be a few ten year olds who won't sleep tonight for fear of waking up in jail with a shocker on their wrists in the morning Smile

I think he was joking - but he was spot on anyway, Sabrina is no longer a 'teenage witch' She's definately pushing 30 and is executive producer of the show! IMO it's gone on too long - it lost it's edge when the funny sub-characters (Harvey, Mr. Kraft, Libby, Valerie) all left to be replaced by Saved by the Bell types like Josh, who has to be the most boring, miserable character on that show.

Well I agree there. The earlier episodes were definately better. When they stray from the original idea things often fail - remember the Worst Witch? She went on to go to Witch university or something and all the best characters left - Miss Drill, Miss Bat, Miss Cackle and Constant Hardon.

Yes, well it was a joke - surely the author didn't put 'hardbroom' in there without intending it to have undertones?

No, I don't think she did. I reckon the name is meant her, you know, hard nature and all that. Basically, the fact that she's a b***h.

It looks like these morning episodes of Star are new ones, which means either a) its not that popular so they are getting rid of the remaining episodes during half term, or b) it is popular and is being used to pull in viewers to the morning strand!

There was a cockup at 9.25am this morning as we saw a VT Clock saying "CITV - Tuesday 28th October - Studio A Birmingham" just before the CITV ident

This week's SM:TV Live...

It looks like the ITV2 9.25am show is a repeat of last Saturday's show. Also it's a strange one this week as CD:UK is on BEFORE SM:TV, so I wonder if Cat will say "And Blazin' squad are sticking around for SM:TV Gold with Stephen and Des - Hey you know where its at"! at the end of CD:UK!

My Parents are Aliens

Notice at the end of today's MPAA they actually let the credits run to the end, that's all the way to the end a lingered on the "A GR/N/D/ Production" slide (squashed to a 5th of the screen with trailers in the other 4/5ths). Normally when the squash the credits they remove them all together before the production caption comes on.

Today's show itself was just as entertaining as the repeats, and CITV overall was also a good one, with "Swag" making an appearance, though I thought Michael could have mentioned the fact that 'a bag of swag' actually featured as part of today's MPAA.

Oh and I was looking on the MPAA website and it says that MPAA are up for a Bafta, also "Brian" and "Josh" have actually posted

I saw it on Nickelodeon and it was p*ss poor, the whole of Series 7 was very poor, to be honest many would agree with me here by saying that the whole show went downhill from Series 5.

It is intresting that we have Harvey in the last episode when Sabrina is supposing to be marrying someone else.

It must be one of only few shows to have been cancelled twice, ABC made the right decision and The WB seem to have taken ages to cancel it. The problems with it was that she is no longer a teenager, obviously and in the later episodes she does little magic at all, it's like a cheap sh*t rip off Friends and any sitcom like that. Though if you look the new episodes are directed by Melissa Joan Hart herself which might have some explanation.

Haven't they already done the burglary thing in MPAA? I'm sure they have, although just not dragged it out for an entire episode.

I've seen Tony Gardner make a good dozen posts or so now on the MPAA forum, more than I can say for certain other cast members who haven't turned up at all. Yet to see Alex Kew's post as the site doesn't seem to be working atm. Try tomorrow. Nice to see that the show's been nominated for a Bafta though.

YEY!!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

We FINALLY had presenters on today's CiTV! It is the first time in ages I have seen a presenter on Thursday!!!!! Michael had loads of links aswell, so they must have alot of air time because of that new show, Beat the Cyborgs. Talking about Beat the Cyborgs I think that 'cheering' from the 'audience' is canned. What is the point? It is sooooooo fake!!

PS: I like the idea that michael has links/jokes between MOST of the programmes but why can't he use the studio insted of blue screen!!

LoveTV!!
