Does it even have any content worthy of UKTV transferring over to other channels?

To be fair, The Bold and the Beautiful could easily be put on W, considering it's female-skewing audience.

Although I'm guessing content arrangements were probably only signed for a year. The info on the website is just an apology to TBATB fans for the disruption.

I don't think the show has ever really taken off in the UK so probably wouldn't rate well for W, but could be worth them trialing on UKTV Play.

Considering it barely manages 15k viewers on CCX I doubt they'll be that keen on bringing it over to W.

Makes you wonder why Ideal World bothered to put (relatively) so much effort into CCX buying content like The Bold & The Beautiful , setting up a website and social media accounts, and even getting Trish Bertram in doing some pre-recorded continuity (Trish must be some $$ to book to record for them) when they could have just done a 'merit' and shown bare minimum content and still got the same result in flogging the Freeview slot on!

I wouldn't be too surprised if Ideal World consider doing the same thing again and flog off their juicy EPG channel 22 slot. In these (expected) tough times ahead this channel slot could be a big pay day for em?!
