Newscaststudio did a supertake of the new graphics and the music. The show initially was intended to be a fast paced version of what Shep is good at, that horrible debate derailed that. But you can see what the show is going to feel like on a normal night. If normal even exists anymore. Also at the end of the video you will see a time-lapse of the new studio that is being constructed for him.

Everything about The News with Shepard Smith is what NewsNation could learn from. It's all and good having a flashy set, but if you don't have the talent to wrap it up in, it becomes a nondescript bulletin.

Shep as per usual puts his own slant on the stories while maintaining impartiality, yet he's the glue keeping what would otherwise be NewsNation Mark II.

CNBC in Europe are now airing generic ads for the show, but without any air dates/times. Seems a bit odd if they’re not planning to show it.

On his 2nd night we see what the broadcast was supposed to look like. It feels big and pacey and energetic in Shep's signature style. I always like how he coined the phrase at the halfway mark of the broadcast: "Now the top stories at the bottom of the hour!" Still not enthralled with the lower third graphics, but this broadcast seems to be pretty solid will be nice on his new set. I like the female voiceover (they can drop the slogan though...bit too FNC for me) and swooping shot over the newsroom across the set into his alcove and the zoom into the anchor and the screen.

I must say I enjoyed the show very much. I was worried it would be a bit CNBC centric specifically their correspondents but they used the whole roster of NBC talent. As someone told me it was a showcase of the reporting of NBC News. I think I will be watching this over News Nation any day of the week.

Wonder if this might have been originally planned for NBC Sky World News?

CNBC allowed Shep to start early this evening to cover Trump's move to hospital.

So have NBC now basically got MSNBC, CNBC, NBC News Now, and probably special coverage from NBC News on NBC itself, to cover this story? No wonder they had second thoughts about NBC Sky World News.

NBC News Now is really part time and when there’s a SR they simulcast NBC.

Unfortunately you missed out on NBC's other news offerings they have in the streaming arena. Including the lastest channel called THE CHOICE, a progressive "news" channel.

According to TVNewer https://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/peacock-launches-two-new-shows-on-its-newest-streaming-news-channel/458053/
The Choice is a progressive streaming news channel, and is the newest addition to Peacock’s streaming news offerings, which include the flagship NBC News Now, Today All Day, and Sky News, as well as Noticias Telemundo on demand.

The News with Shepard Smith will be on CNBC EMEA Tue-Fri this week at 4am UK time, filling the gap between Street Signs Asia and Capital Connection, caused by Daylight Savings Time ending for the year (Street Signs Asia is fixed to Asian time and Capital Connection is fixed to European time). CNBC have previously used a variety of programming in this slot during Northern Hemisphere Winter, including Nightly Business Report and Fast Money.

CNBC World is using CNBC US filler in that slot in the States.
