Just noticed something quite amusing when watching the first ep of Millionaire back. The first contestant (Graham Elwell) is answering the very first question he says I think it’s B which is the wrong answer - the right answer is Beak which is A. Chris misheard him for saying Beak and he gets the right answer and Graham even says Oh after it

Bit of a look at how it worked for you...
As an aside, €300,000 seems to be a slightly odd figure to choose as their top prize. It doesn't really seem like a milestone figure to me. I would have expected, if they didn't want to go up to €1,000,000, they would have stopped at €250,000 or €500,000. Also, looking at their money ladder, it takes much longer to get into 'big money' than the UK version, with the second milestone being €12,000 (around £10,500) compared to our £32,000. I understand they may have different budgets and I'm not suggesting the show is any the worse for it, I just find it interesting.
Meanwhile across the channel. Millionaire social distancing addition is coming.

The regular second safe point is €24,000. €300,000 is the level before the Million on their regular money ladder. They’re all playing for a COVID-19 charity so combined they could win Millions, but they’re not showing any commercials so they probably don’t have budget as it’s an impromptu commission.

It plays the same as the phone a friend lifeline but you phone a random French household, who have signed up.
What's the "Home" lifeline?

No, that graphic shows him at €200 with all his lifelines intact.
Wait, did he have to phone a friend on one of the first 2 questions?

As Dermot O'Leary would say, I posted those pictures "in no particular order".

I would honestly love it if Sony re-edited all of their Milloinaire original tapes to put back the contestant chatter when they’re re-airing their own programme on the Sony Channel. Especially as the edits only seem to exist for Series 4-whenever the Charles Ingram stuff happened, due to them being 30 min episodes half the time... but chances are that’ll never happen so i am just fantasising!
Clearly Sony still have what must be near original broadcast tapes if they managed to show the Charles Ingram stuff, it just depends on whether they want to edit them to broadcast them as intended (with phone number stuff taken out)

No no, i meant original broadcast tapes of other episodes, as they claim to have used near original footage from the Charles Ingram episode, so they must have more that they’re doing little with. My point was that if they have near original footage from one specific episode, surely they have the same type of footage for all the other episodes?
I can't imagine any reasons why they would have kept more of the tapes from the Charles Ingram episode than others.
