Not exactly suprising, he was still in the fastest finger first seats, they couldn't really go round trying to airbrush him from all the wide shots.

I know I just find it spooky.

He wasn’t dead.

Was The People Versus by Celador as well?

People's Versus was very popular in Russia (and Serbia I think).

One thing that sticks to my mind re Russian shows was when Chris Tarrant presented a Millionaire behind the scenes special, he explained how in the Russian Millionaire, the 'Ask the Audience' lifeline was the worst possible one because the audience were unreliable (or I think the producers told them to deliberately vote misleadingly).

Notice how the same link is used at 7:30 and again at 34:50 and then after that break Chris obviously recorded a single line on a future night explaining why we were getting a second new set of contestants.

Yeah, I'm a bit confused with the timeline of what happened and how it was edited as confetti not on floor in opening bump shot as he goes on to mention 'specially extended show"

An interesting thing about the US revival is they've got a viewers prize that goes along with it based on what the contestants win, and very much inspired by HQ Trivia, which finally bit the dust in the US earlier this year.

Basically once the show ends you play with a new set of 15 questions and have three life lines - 50/50, Double Dip (pick two answers, a lifeline used over the years in the US) and Go With the Audience, where you take the answer most players have chosen. After 15 questions the game continues with no lifelines until there is just one contestant or 20 questions have been asked, with the winner or winners sharing the equivalent prize of the episode.

Shouldn’t be confusing he just explained it to you.

Jon, that's now the third time you've stepped in to make an unwarranted snippy comment in as many pages. Does it make you feel better to make others feel small?

I think you’re taking my throwaway comments too seriously. Me using the word bunkum in reply to you for example was because I think it’s such an absurd word to use and not something intended to be taken seriously.

It's not just about your earlier comment to me. That's just comment one of three tonight in this thread alone. I'm more 'offended' by your additions to this page, where you've twice within six posts responded to two comments with no purpose other than to make that user look silly. I'd really suggest you think about the way the 'throwaway comments' you publicly make might make others feel.

Perhaps in my reply to Rolling News, however it wasn’t personal, it was jokey response to his comment. My reply Mr Udagawa although abrupt sounding was just explaining that what was done was explained to him in the post he quoted.

What should be top of the charts isn't Craig David, but the OFFICIAL Millionaire Chris Tarrant Remix Very Happy

...also, after ITV had basically given up on Millionaire (not too long after Ingram Wilcox) they went through a period of random BIG NEW IDEAS but then gave them no chance by shoving them in a Tuesday 8pm slot...

"This is High Stakes - the show where you need brains, bravery and just a little luck to win big money. But beware - one wrong step and you are down and out, instantly! On High Stakes, there is only one man who can help you..."
