I've not heard anything about it happening this year, but something like that did happen a few years ago
I didn't catch it but forum chat seems to be that BBC SPOTY lost its feed after the show overran (not booked long enough?).

I'm wondering if this is a reference to when the BBC 'lost' it's feed of Mo Farah in 2017 just as Mo was about to make his acceptance speech as the winner. I don't think they got it back before the programme ended?

"Stand up... if you can't see the darts".
Power cut at the Alexandra Palace has pulled the darts off air on Sky Sports.A clock came up plus five minutes of a fault slide and they're now showing old match highlights.

There has been a power cut at the Alexandra Palace! That's why Sky Sports coverage has stopped. pic.twitter.com/3S2alyOwkq

I can provide one or two insights (wish I remembered the time codes) but the NBC animating peacock towards the end with the chimes are there for the local station to insert commercials. It’s not a breakdown of sorts but a reminder if a master control operator hears it they should playout local ads.
As for the sunspots on the CW I’m surprised they don’t have a diverse satellite uplink (or schedule one). I know it’s sometimes considered a netlet but it is conjoined with CBS and I would have thought they would have transponder service on multiple satellites. But since it only occurs twice a year for a few minutes I see it’s not a big deal.
26 minute compilation of TV channel breakdowns, mostly American but some Australian and British, including some I've not seen before.

BoXmas appears to have (partially) reverted back to Box Upfront graphics. The Upfront DOG is onscreen and the programme title is displaying twice - in the Upfront style and BoXmas style, overlapping. The remaining graphics/branding is still in BoXmas mode.
It doesn't appear to be a case of them being burnt into the show either as both disappear and reappear between videos...

No, Box Plus almost never burn in graphics, expect for a few select shows such as Hotmix and some Hangouts.
Technically, the wrong graphics package is being used at the moment anyway, it should be using the icy blue package for this particular show.

Yeah guessed that was the case - I tuned in later and it was fixed so it probably was just this show.
Interestingly while channel surfing this morning Box Hits seems to be using the BoXmas DOG now... It's using the icy blue package for the rest though.
