I don't think we got a promo bug on UTV

Adapted summer titles today for some reason.

They did the same last week, I thought it was because of the remembrance opening last week but clearly they’re using the when Phillip isn’t hosting - a good move imo.

The titles should always be generic. I preferred it when they could impose a photo of the presenters onto the titles. The way it should be!

New titles for Friday. It just cuts out all the Holly and Phil bits. Bit of a quick sticking plaster job. Urgh.

They're not perfect but they haven't just cut out the Holly & Phil bits, they've added some new shots of some of the scenes, presumably from the rushes.

Plus the show title now reads This Morning with Eamonn & Ruth, so a step in the right direction for all those concerned they were being hard done by. I have a hunch we'll be getting new titles soon, perhaps in January or September at the latest.
