Based at BBC Television Centre or The London Television Centre?

Oh, I thought that the site was going to be opened up so there was public access through the courtyard and through the back towards Hammersmith Park. I assumed that was through the South Hall, but that looks like there's rooms of some sort there

That was meant to be a joke...

But I'm half expecting a BBC Studioworks logo to be bolted to the front of TC1 and for the forum to implode.

Thing is, it's one of those places the name might have changed a bit but people will still call it BBC Television Centre.

Like Google Maps, even now for example...

There's absolutely no question that many people will still call it BBC Television Centre - and it's quite likely that they will do so for many years to come.

I was just trying to make a joke about it, and I'm sorry that not everyone got this joke.

That would be nice I guess, the wall has looked very empty since September 2014

Sorry, maybe this will make it a bit clearer, it's an old map but the wedge is partly new build for scenery. If you watch the video you can see the join where the original back wall of TVC joins the new build.

Sounds Like Friday Night came LIVE from Television Centre tonight - even featured an amazing italicised version of the façade in the titles. Presumably from TC1 as the set was HUGE!
