Scarlet always comes across as a competition winner who won the chance to co-host and still can't believe her luck.

Well that competition was I'm a Celeb and she probably can't believe they've not replaced her with Toff this year. Agree Ashley Roberts was far better, though to be fair to Scarlett she wasn't too bad in the studio last year but is just not suited to doing the OB segments. Mulhern would be a safer pair of hands for those.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Emma Willis; she was like a rabbit in the headlights.

Personally I like Scarlett's contribution.

Yes, Emma clearly can't do unrehearsed. When you consider her success is based on being a better presenter than Brian Dowling it's not hugely surprising.

I did think Emma was a very random choice for that segment - other ITV presenters who have far more of a connection to Ant and Dec.

I disagree. I thought she did fine. If anything she played on being unrehearsed.

A "promotion" from a Virgin Atlantic verified page keeps coming up on my Facebook page after each show inviting you to win a place on the plane by filling out a form with your name and address etc... however, after filling out the form the enter now button is still greyed out and you can't enter.

Could this promotion be open only while the show is on air?

Scarlett is better than Mulhern. But not by much. I find Scarlett annoying and Mulhern too cocky..

His cockiness is very much an act, especially considering he's nothing like that in any other of his presenting gigs.

It was strange how they sent Scarlett to Nottingham this week so she had no chance of being in the studio at some point considering it was the 100 show special.

In fact she hardly featured at all tonight!

Ah, I thought I enjoyed tonight's episode more than normal...

It's hardly subtle, is it? It's the fact he's so dull in the first place they had to create that character for him.

Was that "LIVE" DOG there last week?

It’s been there as long as I can remember

I've met Stephen Mulhern a few times; he's fun to chat with, a good laugh, bright and far from dull in my experience. The 'cockiness' thing is indeed an act for the show: He bigs up his role on the show to ostensibly wind up Ant & Dec; given that's the joke, it's not meant to be subtle. Off-camera he's not cocky at all, I've found him to be down-to-earth and a top bloke.

With regards to Scarlett Moffat, I imagine she'll stay with the programme... she's managed by a certain James Grant Media.

I think Stephen Mulhern is brilliant. Don’t get the hate.
