It's another Celebrity series! I quite like January as a time to launch a Celebrity series of BB, I just don't understand the need for two a year, especially when the calibre of celebrities is low.
The same could be said for i’m a celeb. Apart from one of two faces in there this year, I didn’t have a clue who the rest were.

A wonderful evening of programmes on Channel 5 tonight. For the first time in ages Channel 5 have produced/commissioned (in my eyes) a wonderful, entertaining, high quality night of entertainment. Jane McDonald suits the role of her new show.
It wouldn't be Christmas without C5 showing Scrooge: A Christmas Carol from 1951. At least they're showing the B&W version and not the colourised version which ruined the film that they used to show.

Imagine my disappointment tuning into Christmas Gold yesterday to find the colourised version of It's a Wonderful Life
I wonder if someone forgot to schedule the advent calendar ident for the 24th December onto the playout system for the day properly. Certainly the junctions I've caught so far today have been back to the regular idents which previously was the reserve of news.

And still no Advent calendar this morning. Has somebody really screwed up?
From my view, someone definitely screwed up. You wouldn't spend money creating these advent Christmas idents only to miss the final few days of the campaign. Usually, you would 'end date' the normal idents in the scheduling system to avoid them being used and give a set period for the Xmas idents to run.
Perhaps when working ahead to complete the TX schedules for the Christmas period, this was missed.
