Interesting that tonight's On Assignment with Julie Etchingham in Bosnia is a follow up to her time there 20 years ago reporting for Newsround, interviewing many of the people she interviewed then when they were children.

Pretty funny. Atleast it looks like he was a good sport as they were filming it. Any word on how long he stayed there?

Reminds me of a time where Stephanie Abraham’s (who was filling in for Al Roker) missed a bit of the Today Show from being stuck in a 30 Rock elevator after hosting “Wake Up with Al” show on The Weather Channel (which she was his cohost). The show normally cuts it so close that they leave at 6:55AM and normally catches an elevator and goes through the concourse underneath the street to 10 Rock where Studio 1A is. She ended up doing the first weather hit by phone. All in all she was stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes and was accross the street and on air by 7:25.

Definitely sounded like a mistake rather than a conscious decision but tonight's 6.30 voice over was just "The Evening News with Mary Nightingale".

Yeah, sounded like the start of the voice over was cut off... More like "... V Evening News".

The last edition of the Morning News was broadcast 5 years ago today.

I think that before the 2013 rebrand, ITV News had better and more newsworthy music. 2009-2013
