Christmas 2016

A great ident by far - props to Channel 4 for the effort they've put in.

Makes it even more annoying they just didn't bother for most of the last decade - they could have have a few great idents out of that set. Other than the Snowman and the Snowdog ident the closest they got in that period was in a trailer for the John Lewis Monty the Penguin ad.

C4 have started using last year's Christmas idents again today. Both 'Snow' and 'Snowman' shown before The Simpsons this afternoon.

Christmas pres started this morning on BT Sport as well, with lots of festive puns in the 'brand chant' bumpers.

No surprise to see that More4 have their usual Christmas idents again.

ITV's Christmas idents are a bit deary and dull.

Film4 has brought back 2014's presentation, and have a lovely festive logo used in their Christmas promo - but again, no special idents.
