I can't see any reason why Sky News Tonight can't continue with two other presenters, the format works perfectly well when Bolton is off. Incidentally it was single headed with Sophy Ridge tonight.

I wonder if this means the Press Preview will be incorporated and moved to Millbank?

Well, now you have your answer!

A trailer for a new Adam Boulton show 'All Out Politics', daily 10-11 from 26 Sept

Presumably that means Sky News Tonight either being killed off or Boulton replaced.

Good idea for them to do this.

Looks like Dermot Murnaghan is replacing Adam Boulton

Does this mean the 9-12 and Kay Burley gain an extra hour?

Boulton's show is going to be at 10am in the morning! Press Preview to remain intact, as far as I know. You may see presenters at different times of day to what you're accustomed to.

The slots are completely changing in the daytime - there will be changes this month and again in October.

I imagine Kay will go to Sunrise till 10am. Hand over to Adam then and possibly Anna Botting 11-2pm. Then possibly Jayne Secker and/or Colin Brazier 2pm-5pm. Then we have Dermot 7pm-9pm. So that leaves 5-7 and 9-12 to be filled. Not sure of who will take them two major roles as of yet.

I'm not going into the realms of fantasy, but I won't be surprised if some of the more junior presenters pop up from time to time in daytime. Nor would I be surprised if Kay turns up presenting at least one edition of the Press Preview.

In that case its hard to know where Sky will plug their gaps. Short term their ok as Eamonn Holmes isn't leaving till mid-October and Jeremy the end of the year but I can't see them being able to replace the regular line-up with familiar, experienced presenters. This shows the demise of the once innovative, ambitious 24 hours news channel that you work for. What has been the feeling about the loss of so many great presenters among staff?
