Just to add to comments about Adam Fleming, he did a round up of events for Newsround today. They never lose the ability to explain the complexities in a simple, yet non-patronising manner.

Over on World, Business Live went out as normal, but they had Victoria Fritz breaking news of each cabinet post between the segments.

I bet the announcement of each cabinet post was gripping the international viewer.

Some suggestions that Damian Green is to take over from Whittingdale at CMS which would put the BBC Charter Renewal process way up in the air. Getting a former broadcaster in the role would be great, knowing the issues and complexities.

I'd have thought international viewers watching a UK-based news channel would definitely be interested in knowing who the new Chancellor, Foreign Secretary, and Secretary for Leaving the EU are.

Maybe they should be put in charge of producing The One Show.

On Newsround at 4:20pm earlier today, Naz Mogra was in the studio, whilst Ayshah Tull was outside 10 Downing Street.

I don't know if other BBC regions did this, South East Today kept breaking news of the cabinet positions during the 1900 bulletin, even going to their political correspondent at College Green. Osborne's departure was after a twee live from a restored windmill.

Well at least his time in broadcasting was with the BBC and C4, though it's a quarter of a century ago now. Does seem though he was one of the chief objectors within the Tories to some of Whittingdales plans, so that's good news.

Maybe it will be a good thing if BBC News Channel and BBC World merged then, if people tune in to BBC World News for UK news.

It depends on the story: A new PM announcing her ministers is relevant to an international audience, while a new NHS policy, for instance, is not.
