A bit rude for neither Sophie or the continuity announcer to not explain why the regional news hasn't followed the Six.

99% of the population won't know the finer details of the BBC's opt out arrangements and would expect the regional news to follow.

That's on the other strap they haven't used yet, the one that says "For the finer details of the BBC's opt out arrangements and why there's no regional news on BBC Two, please visit www.tvforum.co.uk".

There's a nice half hour slot at 8:00 they could use for the regional news in England! Laughing

This might be done by 19:00, but only just if it is.

They need to stick to the 19:30 junction to stop messing things up even further, put the regional news on then so that Wales and NI can show their opt out of Question of Sport. It didn't get shown on Wednesday due to football, so best to drop it and show it eveywhere at a later date.

It looks as though NI have followed suit with their regional news, but Scotland seem to have a second edition on BBC One Scotland after 7pm. Shocked

Desperately seeking a filler!

My EPG has tidied itself up now with The One Show at 19:00 (so that it can be easily moved to BBC Two) and regional news at 19:30.

How long is this Nature's Weirdest events, because the EPG reckons its 90 mins, but surely it will have to make way for the tennis returning to BBC2 at some point?

It's a good thing the 'Welcome Home' concert on BBC One Wales has replaced Wales Today rather than delayed it today, as it would have been a nightmare to schedule considering Wimbledon on BBC Two, the One Show to show somewhere, and the network schedule to fall back in line with at some point! At 6pm on BBC One Wales there was the very end of the ident being shown on BBC Two network as they opted into the national news, and at 6:30 the bikers ident went on for ages, to the extent the vision froze (as they'd run out of ident), although the audio went on a little longer.

Meanwhile, the BBCs' online EPG is all over the place

It's a 30 minute programme. So either Wimbledon will return at 19:00 or The One Show will move over.

It now somewhat optimistically has Wimbledon finishing at 7, followed by The One Show, followed by local news.

You'd imagine The One Show would be dropped on to BBC2 and they'd pray everything will be finished up by half 7?

Murray is a game away from the win so it will be done around 19:00 if not before.

Ah, I can't count. Looks like they'll get away with this then.
