I've never rated BT Sport's HD picture quality via BTTV, think it looks really soft, only reason I have it is because of the ultimate channel and its cheaper than via SKY

Would anyone here with a BTTV Sub using the UHD box consider a subjective assessment of Picture Quality of the BT Sport HD channels over the past month (especially those on the new packages)? I think there's been some 'playing'.

Dolby Atmos audio on the lunchtime kickoffs via the App from Saturday ....

Interesting shift with the Dolby Atmos addition on apps, there's a distinctive volume level drop when the equipped match coverage moves to commercial breaks and vice-versa which could prove irritating with viewers. It'll need to be sorted sooner rather than later going forward.

Stadium sound to be the default option on UK matches where there's a crowd present: https://theathletic.com/news/fans-return-football-sound-tv-latest/KOnvbPti5E9l?amp=1

The logical choice. I assume only home fans are permitted.

Still no word on the FA Cup games I take it though I'd guess Marine v Spurs is a given for BBC1 - although social distancing requirements may make things trickier than normal.

FA Cup 3rd Round,

Fanciful but have heard that we might get the lot broadcast, on air say 12, and on digital platforms the rest, over the Fri - Mon timeframe, albeit some in restricted format. There are 32 matches which could be spread over 10-12 timeslots fairly easily. (ET and Pens could muck it all up though)

I have BT YouView with the Sport channels, now I'm gutted they've taken my only two Sky Sports channels away

Not sure what BT charged for Sky Sports but I suspect accessing them via Now TV works out cheaper. Get in touch with BT - they'll be a deal to be done. I've ditched paying for BT TV now as I usually use the app via Amazon or Now TV to view it and renegotiated broadband and landline prices and pretty much halved what I was paying.

I moved last month across from SSME to the NOW VIP deal, then the offer was £32.50 for 6months of BTS in 4K, AMC, and the Now Sport, Movies and Entertainment passes with Boost. In month 7 it rises to £65. SSME on its own was £36 per month.

I assume you've never watched AMC. Very Happy

Actually surprising BT aren't making moves in the general entertainment streaming area. They were somewhat ahead of the game with BT Vision but aren't really on the radar now with a service of their own.

Didn't realise AMC was still going , they removed it from Sky a while ago.
