Subtle £1 pm increase in the HD Pack cost it would seem.

BTSportESPN branding launched in advance of today's BTSportEurope presentation.

How are you going to differentiate between BTSE and BTSE?

How are you going to differentiate between BTSE and BTSE?

What about BTSE? (BT Sport Extra)

This is going to get very confusing Wink

Couldn't see anyone mention that BT are launching 4K coverage with a new YouView+ box for Infinity customers. They've beaten Sky with this.

(Not unexpected if you follow what certain resource providers are doing with recent Sony HDC4300 cameras etc...)

BT are broadcasting over the Internet though aren't they, to BT customers only, so it's still not the first traditional broadcast channel in Ultra HD but still a very exciting development.

The quicker Ultra HD becomes a thing, so to speak, the quicker 'normal' HD becomes standard and broadcasters stop charging extra for it hopefully!

Not really any different to a cable channel - multicast DVB over IP vs DVB-C? It's not as if they are using Flash or Silverlight - it's like lots of the European cable networks which are using IPTV instead of DVB-C modulation.

Slightly off topic. Although I have to say I think BT Sport could do with a website update.

Yes, the website is horrid to navigate and the app isn't much better really.

Notice though you can get BT TV for a £14 activation fee with no monthly charge if you subscribe to BT Broadband - I presume you have to buy the Youview box too. They've got some deals in place which expire on the 18th June - which is rather annoying for people like myself waiting for fibre broadband to arrive - it should be with us in time for the season, but won't be here in time for these deals, though I might ring them next week and see what deals I can get.
