Maybe I'm thinking of another one with Clarkson. Could be wrong!

Here is Eddie's faux-pas...

KLAXON ALERT!

Must admit I thought she was out of there with £1,000

I wonder when the last time it was mentioned on air either by a presenter or in a jingle what Radio 1’s FM frequency is

I was starting to wonder if the klaxon was still a thing, it's been so conspicuous by its absence... As a result, I was starting to think she'd go for Virgin Radio UK on that frequency question! (Virgin isn't on FM at all, is it?)

Still it’s surprising Clarkson didn’t know or at least have a better idea of.

A klaxon, I will now worry about that lady’s fate for the whole week.

He obviously doesn't listen to Radio 1 but is in a car often enough and was a fairly frequent guest on Chris Moyles Show years ago to think he should have known that even by process of elimination.

What were the options for that question? I wouldn't know Radio 1's off the top of my head but I know most of the London centric ones like Capital and LBC.

From that I would have said Radio 1 as Talksport is AM, Virgin Radio is DAB and Classic is in the 100s.

I know Radio 2 still reference the frequency in their jingles but not sure if Radio 1 do. And from promotion on the TV now you'd think radio had been closed down completely in favour of BBC Sounds.

I don’t think Radio 1 have mentioned their frequencies in jingles since the late 90s. Up until a decade ago the news TOTH said ‘Digital, FM, online’ before it was replaced.
