I think it would be great if they did a christmas special where her ghost appears at the vicrage or at davids mansion
Letitia Cropley appeared in just ONE complete series and was killed off in the 1995 Easter Special inwhich everyone had to dress as an Easter Bunny. The 1996 and 1997 Christmas specials therefore didn't feature her.(Obviously). They went on to make three brand new episodes in 1998 and then finally the 1999 Four Season Christmas episodes concluded the show. In total, 16 episodes have been made as well as a fifteen minute 1999 Comic Relief edition.

What a fabulous idea! Can you imagine the conversation she could have with Alice? Maybe you could suggest it to the beeb and get Richard Curtis to pen the episode. I think it would work really well (Oh God now I sound like Linda Barker!)

Thank God I'm not the only one with Lindaitis. I was about to take a depression tablet. She's got such an irritating voice that Barking woman. Yes, I meant to say Barking, because the daft bat is.
Vicar of Dibley was brilliant in it's day, but leave it be. I agree with the earlier post about new comedy being needed, rather than the BBC filling up their schedules with endless repeated of Only Fools, Open all Hours and The Good Life.
Talking of Liz Smith does anyone know the name of that comedy that she filmed for the beeb i think it only ran for a series or two. It was filmed in the sixties/seventies time
