Ooh, hello! What's happening on Digital? The Learning Zone ident just appeared, before going back to TCJ. Don't know if Analogue did the same thing.
Anyway, BBC1 close in 10 minutes.
I spotted it on Analogue cable, and on analogue terrestrial the testcard has shrunk so I guess it was on both.
Heh, it seems you and me are the only ones who've stayed up to see it!
Still, nice to see J & W. I remember starting a thread on TV Forum in 2001 which concerned me worrying if TCJ would ever return, after the last few Testcard showings being TCW only. Luckily, it appeared on Analogue for the 2001 tests. BBC1 should be closing soon now. I've got Digital in here, and Analogue upstairs.
Well, that was quick! A short slide followed immediately after See Here, with the anno mentioning that the channel is 'closing for essential engineering work'.
Dan posted:
I predict it will be something about BBC ONE closing for essential engineering work
Well done, Dan.
Fade out into TCJ on Analogue and Digital.
But wait a minute! Digital's just gone black!
EDIT: So has BBC2 Digital! Analogue and UKTV are unaffected.

It could just be ntl, then. A box has popped up on One and Two saying 'This channel is currently unavailable.'. electronically generated by NTL, also seen when BBC Three/Four and CBBC/Cbeebies are off air.
Well I have BBC1 on the PC and BBC2 on the TV so no problem here really...
I'll probably watch BBC1 as I can capture stills from it while I watch, then rewind and capture the announcement from the start. Then hook up the VCR to the PC and capture BBC2.
Neither have flickred yet.
What's going on on 3 and 4? The usual slides?
