WTA from Acapulco currently going out with no score graphics. Since it went on air at 22:00 it has been totally graphics free apart from an ESPN-style draw graphic at the start and another graphic that was quickly faded out. Catherine Whitaker providing world feed commentary on BT Sport and to other broadcasters, presumably from Stratford.
the WTA world feeds are produced by Perform - I believe in Feltham. (Coincidentally, in the same building as Eurosport)

I'm not sure who the host broadcaster is for the Sunwolves v Kings Super Rugby match in Singapore, but the graphics they are using are very similar to ITV's Rugby World Cup 2015 graphics - themselves obviously inspired by the old Sky NZ graphics.

Since when have Sky been simulcasting the build-up for Premier League games on Sky 1? Haven't noticed it before this weekend.

That might explain why on the EPG the build-up today has been billed separately.

It's the same graphics used for the two test series between Japan and Scotland last year. I'm guessing that whoever is the Japanese host broadcaster will be doing the graphics, even though the game is in Singapore.

It's not a normal thing, I think it was to promote to non Sky Sports subscribers that they were throwing their match up on Sky Sports Mix.

A rather headache inducing Venetian blind effect on Motorsport tv this morning. Best described as the picture being split into horizontal sections, nothing being in the right order. It also affected adverts, suggesting it's possibly an uplink problem, not a playout problem. Unless, of course, someone on ehre knows different.

They are doing the same thing for Super Sunday this morning however, and there is no simulcast on Mix.

Apparently this is a new regular thing, as of now, just to offer more scope for promotion and trailers it seems. One other benefit is that splitting off the build-up into a separate programme means they can report a bigger rating for the match itself.

I quite liked Bill Leslie saying goodbye to viewers on Sky One, like Andy Crane saying goodbye to Northern Ireland.

I think she's a competitor in that sport herself at a reasonably high level ?

Worthwhile noting that Tom Daley got non-exclusive shared online video rights for the FINA Diving Championships first round in Beijing this weekend for his YouTube channel. Expect to see more of this type of venture in the near future by minority sport participants.
