Some possible TV graphics for next year. The rebrand was created by Wieden+Kennedy.

Have to admit the graphics doesn't look great looking at it at the moment but it will probably look better on broadcast come the first race.

The font will probably be adopted (which I'm not liking at the moment) in the FOM world feed race graphics, but that screenshot is just a 'throw a load of concepts at a screen as a demonstration'.
It's more like what Liberty Media want the home page for f1.com to look like - pity that it also looks like what happens when the building of it was taken over by a hyperactive 8 year old after 3 packets of Haribo.
Clearly made up.
No current F1 race is 28 laps long - and Palmer and Kvyat are long gone from the paddock..
It mentions Suzuka circut, but the map is of the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
Random driver names all over the place.

Everything on that shot is as ugly as hell. I only hope its a prototype as that font is, to my mind, just horrible.
Sometimes I wonder what rebrand experts are on when they come up with some of this stuff, often picking to my mind the worst possible font going, the most horrific colour schemes one could ever imagine and sometimes its like being on an acid trip...

Sorry Neil, that IS the new F1 corporate font. It's going to be used on everything. Three weights. of fonts. The lightest of which, will be used for the TV graphics.
Click on the creative review link, and it's all there.
The rather 'brutal' design had to be made, so it held it's own amougst the other sponsors and team logos at every race. Whether it works, remains to be seen. There are also some other 'concept/work in progress designs' and as usual, there are some very workable and better designs rejected.
Reading that write up it actually scratches an itch since I first saw the F1 logo. I saw a lot of the ESPN logo in that. No surprise. The F1 marketing director worked with the design agency before- and the design agency has done some work with..yep ESPN.

Sky have the ATP rights for 2018, the Amazon deal is from 2019.

It’s the US Open that Amazon have from next year.
Advance listings on Digiguide show Eurosport keeping the ATP tournament in Brisbane (and therefore presumably also Sydney) and the Hopman Cup, as well as ATP Doha in the first week of 2018, as last year.

Sky's rights are to the Masters 1000 and 500 events, from 2019 Amazon will have those plus twelve 250s - those sold by IMG - leaving 30-odd elsewhere.
The rights to the Australian tournaments - two exhibitions, two ATP 250s and the AO - are separate and having looked it up I see Eurosport have those until 2021. Doha is again separate so I assume either sold on its own or with some other tournaments that remain on Eurosport this year.

Don't FreeSports have some ATP 250 tennis as well? They have some sort of tennis.

i've seen two people at work today wearing F1 merchandise, so there is a market for branded tat - even if it's not to your taste.
Branded tat is fine - I own plenty - but that stuff is just UGLEEEEE.

They did in 2017, but they have removed any mention of it from their website so I wonder if they have given them up.
