*sigh* Everyone is so anti-Andrew on this forum. It's not fair.
There's been a new GMTV trail running at the moment and it features all the presenters laughing, joking, waving and having a good time all round -- what better way would anyone want to wake up/go to bed in the morning?
Well Andrew Castle went up in my estimation during his stint on Wimbledon, but I still think that Ben is better and he's quite a good presenting with Kate
I still think Lorraine should do a few stints on GMTV Today
I think Andrew's a very good presenter, but I like Ben also. I'd personally hate to see Lorraine on today, she'd be better filling in for something like This Morning.
No GMTV isn't Widescreen (16:9) and wont be for the forseeable future. This is because much of their output is studio based with guests, and a tight portrait shot in 'sqaure' 4:3 is more appropriate.
It's the same reason why Parkinson on BBC One is still made in 4:3.
Im not sure whether they should get rid of the backdrop. Its nice; its still and a light colour. I didnt like it much when they presented the show for a couple of days from the london today/tonight studio; i.e. they put the GMTV sofa in front of the london today/tonight live projections. It was anice change having proper scenes but it was wierd; and the metal didnt help as it made it feel cold and un GMTV like.
It was the GMTV Wedding today, and as well as that Andrew and Kate raised a glass to a great summer. Kate then added that Eammon and Fiona are back on Monday.
It'll seem a bit funny with Eammon back, bearing in mind he hasn't been on since May!
