Eamon and Fiona are what make GMTV. Its why so ma y people wake up to it every morning. They cant be doing that bad, because if they was, it wouldnt get any viewers! At least they have life and not plain boring like Kate and Andrew!

I will agree that Andrew is boring, but Kate? No way, she is brilliant.

Whatever happened to Mike 'The Teeth' Morris anyway?

As for Sundays on GMTV, they ought to make their political output live, and put it on later. It's a sure way of improving the output for the better, with Frost on BBC1 being so dreary.

Well from what I remember Mike Morris actually went to GMTV to do his own show, apparently due to popular demand from what I remember, but I think this lasted for only a few months if that really, then in 1996 he went to Yorkshire to present Calendar (His old mate Gyngell was running YTV at the time) and then left the show in 2002, I'd like to know what hes up to now.

Fi-ona has been on her usual form this week.

Firstly, after Eammon concluded a political interview with Charles Kennedy, Fiona said 'you know you look thinner in real life than you do on TV'

then today, they had Michael Howard in, and just before Eammon did the serious interview, Fiona asked him if he'd been watching Hell's Kitchen and knew Abi Titmus

God knows what she will say to Blair!

Would Kate Garraway have said any of that, I think not!

It's unusual to see Fiona and Eammon on during the school holidays this week, and appearing until 9.25.

That's probably because they'll soon be off on their x amount of holidays over the summer.

Yes it looks like that time of year has come again and that its Eamonn's last GMTV of the season this Thursday. He'll then reappear no doubt 12 weeks later on Monday 6th September or thereabouts.

GMTV Today for then looks like this after Thursday...

Friday 11th June - Andrew Castle and Penny Smith
Mon 14th to Thur 17th - Andrew Castle and Fiona Phillips
Friday 18th June - Andrew Castle and Kate Garraway
Wimbledon Fortnight - Ben Shephard and Fiona/Kate

Well now Eamonn has been very cheery this week hasn't he -- obviously I now realise why.

He wasn't really taking the whole Venus thingyo yesterday very seriously -- you could hear all the floor crew laughing.

See, you don't get that on the BBC.

It's a shame the sorts of things these presenters have to do so that they don't reveal their identites on such a lousy programme as GMTV.

I don't think Bill's ever put a paper bag over his head before, but he has drunk champagne, boarded a Tandem bike and danced and sung wearing pink trousers on Children in Need.

A paper bag is surely a logical progression...

I hope GMTV doesnt change its titles this coming September- although I wish they would go back to the red and white GMTV logo for promotions, when it was used, last September, looked much moderner and tidier and better. I havnt watch GMTV for a bit, anything happened?

Im really surpirsed that GMTV hasnt been changed to ITV status by now. Could this happen anytime soon, as ITV has done it to the rest of the network so why not GMTV I wonder.

Because it's not completely ITV owned. And it's a respected name.

Central, Yorkshire, LWT, Anglia..... were all respected names too and where are they now??? Its only a matter of time before ITV buy Disney's stake in GMTV... Then it'll be GMITV
