Correct me if I am wrong here but isn't Fitz actually an ITV programme - originally made by Granada USA as a US remake of Cracker???
SO
SOL
I can honestly say the only programme I would watch out ITV's list is The Bill, and even then, I only watched it now and then.

for me its

Sharpe

Benidorm

The Fixer

Doc Martin

not even the bill since it went to its new god damn awful format - CSI:The Bill or is it Law and Order - The Bill or NCIS - The Bill????

Rest are just utter tripe

I wonder if STV will show I'm a Celebrity..., what with it dominating the 9pm slot for 3 weeks, meaning there would be no room for any of their Scottish opt outs.

STV state it WILL BE kept,as it's a rating winner, along with X factor

Bobby Hain was on Newsnight Scotland last night defending the broadcaster's position. Nothing new in the interview, but it's on the iPlayer if anyone's interested.

9 days later

Out of all the programmes STV have opted out of, it's strange they are bringing this one back

It performed badly on the network with less than 3 million viewers IIRC

It's cheap. Says it all.

Ratings, and the viewers don't matter to STV.

11.35: Surface: Episode 15 of 15

will be replace by ITV network: Film Escape from New york, I wonder why!
