It's nice to hear Peter Simon again. It's almost more magical in audio only. I am imagining him in his gardening jumper. I'd like to think he is still presenting his 3 and a half hours tonight at home. He was due to present Thomas Kinkade: Around the World at 23:00 too. A programme that will now only exist as a few lines of text on the EPG and never as the modern classic it was destined to become.

Why couldn't you have given us one more day, KPMG? One more day!

I have just found an audio recording of one of Peter Simon's monologues. So, for those of you who are going through a difficult time with bid being off the air, here it is. One of the finest monologues on shopping television around the United Kingdom. From the award winning bid tv, Peter Simon's monologue. Good luck if you get it.

So, that Ofcom investigation that started around a year ago; will that continue or be published in whatever form it's in?

If it's ongoing it will almost certainly be published I'd have thought.

Pretty much nothing has been heard of it since it was announced. They wouldn't quietly drop something like that would they?

Possibly, after all there's no sanction that they can bring against the company now

You do usually hear about breaches from since defunct broadcasters though.

I hear he's gonna be Bruce Forsyth's replacement on Strictly...

I remember his younger days fondly but cringe at what he's become on bid tv.

I can imagine that...

Not only with the cha-cha-cha.
Not only performed with the complete grace of a gazelle.
Not only danced on the wooden dance floor.
Not only the wooden dance floor forged from the hands of an artisan craftsman.
Not only from an artisan craftsman descended from a rich tapestry of Parisian woodworkers.
