Points West

Where's the overlap place between Points West, Spotlight and South Today?

Points West goes down as far as Salisbury, which is where South Today picks up. Eastwards the crossover is Swindon, South West it's around Yeovil

That doesn't stop them being bad though

It's not as easy as you think, and I'll thank you to stop making personal attacks on my friends.

I am sure it is hard and sorry to offend- but they are not in any way as good as susan, David,Chris and Sally in my opinion, who all seem to have a good nack at the job.. I just think that they are better in the mornings when they are fine. Also, the new people have pushed out good old Claire Banks, and Jason Deans. To get all my bad comments out the way, which bright spark hired Jeff Twentyman. Northerners are fine but he does not fit in with david and just says that the side will win. Eg Swindon v Liverpool: 'Might just squeeze in a draw there if they are lucky'. I prefer David myself. He is realistic.

BTW, where is Jason Deans now?

Both Amanda and Imogen are both very good - and you have to start somewhere. Both Chris and Susan have been doing the job for ages, and you have to expect they'd be 'better'.

And, having bet against Twentyman's predictions quite a few times, I can tell you he's right more often than you'd think. Especially when he says my team Swindon are going to lose

Besides, he is an ex-pro - so you'd think he would know what he was talking about, wouldn't you Tom?

Clare is one of the team that makes the website and works on Ceefax at the moment, she does early presentation one week out of every four.

Don't be so sensitive. I wasn't attacking them. I've haven't seen Points West since 1985 so can't really comment.

I was just pointing out that just being one of your friends does not make them the best presenter ever.

Can anyone tell me what the main transmitter for Points West is? Am I right in thinking it's Stockland Hill, or am I barking up the wrong transmitter?
