Would be interesting to know the break down of the audience Paul gets - because I imagine the sort of people watching at 5pm aren't likely to be the sort of people watching a late night chat show at 10/11pm on C4.

Does anyone know when this current series will end? Paul began this series a month earlier than usual so will this mean it will finish at the end of May instead of mid June?

Also I have seen that Alan Carr is to guest host a show. It will be pre-recorded on 16th March at 12.30 but will be broadcast in April when Paul takes his usual mid-series week off.

Isn't Alan going to host his own chatshow soon on Channel Four?

Yeah think I seen a bit of the studio in the Freeview adverts recently, so it is recording currently or is already in the can.

It was nice to see that Paul talked about the sad death of Wendy Richard on his show last night. She has been on his show a few times I think.

That is one of the drawbacks of not doing lives shows on Thursdays and Fridays you can't react to news like this.

He also had Natalie Cassidy on his show Friday - I'm guessing they spoke about Wendy's condition in the original edit.

He did - he spoke at length about Wendy and said that he was going to email her when he got home (was filmed on the Tuesday). Such a shame though as he was getting himself upset just talking about here. There was a LOT cut out of the show on Thursday's broadcast.

With Mons-Weds shows live, I wonder how much is cut out of the 12.30pm recorded shows for Thurs and Fris.

I have to give the team credit as they recorded a show at 12.30pm and it probably takes around over and hour to do and this would give them just two hours or so to get the set ready for the live 5pm show.

It must take a lot of work for them to do this as some of the recorded shows have a lot added to the set, I am thinking of the past Halloween show which was shown on a Friday but recorded on a Wednesday at 12.30pm.

Shame there is no uncut versions available and I would love to see what Paul rants on about during the ad breaks.

I have just noticed that with this new series, the show has stopped overunning.

I remember many times the show would always overun into around 6.02, 6.03pm, but now they seem to always finish at around 5.57pm. I wonder if this was due to complaints from viewers?

Does anyone know when this series will end? Since Paul started around 4 weeks earlier than usual will this mean it will end at the end of May instead of mid-June?
