Yes - but my point was that BBC Worldwide creative is separate from UK, therefore are likely to do their own thing, respective to their region.

But there would be nothing stopping BBC Worldwide and BBC One getting together to develop a single style of presentation, with Worldwide paying its share of the cost and therefore subsidising a nice new set of idents for BBC One.

It would save the Worldwide channels a bit of money too, which also gives better value for money for the licence payer.

UKTV Australia used to use elements of the BBC One look. Specifically, the trailers had the same design on BBC One and UKTV around 2008 I think.

So going back to BBC One's look would literally be reviving an old presentation package for UKTV.

True, but from what I've heard. The two BBCs are internally distant/silos. (UK anyways)

Would British BBC style presentation work in Australia though? Would Australian style presentation work on the BBC here? (Obviously it would work technically, but would it bring as many viewers as if it was branded for the local market).

I suspect the answer is no to both.

I wasn't suggesting they go back to BBC One's current look though, I was suggesting they share a new one. BBC One's current pres is 10 years old and overdue for replacement. It's hardly surprising that the other countries that adopted it also ditched it already.
