Former EMT reporter and presenter Victoria Hicks popped up reporting on Breakfast this morning. She was in Lancashire covering a story about driving courses.

EMT would do wise to keep Kathy Rochford; from what I've seen, she is a very able and competent presenter who I like.....

and i would tell people to stop critising how people express themselves -i am sick of people hurling abuse art others! I don't usually get cross but this forum seems to slag people off more than make comments that are worthy of being read at the moment!!!

Surely it is a basic matter of courtesy - if you want people to listen to your views and take you seriously, then it is only polite to make an effort to make your messages easily understood.

If you're English isn't good that's one thing, but to *not care* strikes me as lazy and selfish

Considering we speak in English, it DOES matter to me, and I'm sure to most other forum members, as we might read your poor excuse for English.

Would be good to stay on topic instead of using it for would be English teachers to get in a spot of teacher training.

I quite agree, though it seems Kathy's days were numbered when she was moved from the main programme to make way for Anne Davies who always seems drunk!!!

I've always been a Kathy Rochford fan, haven't seen her on the show for ages...I like Anne Davies, but she always seems to portray the typical 'Dizzy Blonde' image...much prefer Lisa Dransfield, even though she seemed to be having hysterical laughing fits throughout tonights show (come on love, Dominic isn't that funny, surely?????)

Caling all Kathy Rochfod fans!

Kathy is on the Bank Holiday EMT. The evening news showed different camera angles (Wide shot at beginning, plasma etc.). This is interesting 'cos we haven't seen her with these since she was last doing the lunchtime news. Tonight I predict we'll have a late news with a wide shot at the beginning and end.

I agree with Jamie M, I prefer Kathy and Lisa to Anne.
Idea Perhaps Kathy and Anne could do a swap, she wold be much better as a features reporter and occasional presenter. If Kathy didn't want to do all week she and Lisa could do a job share and Priya, Carol, Mel or Lindsay could do lunch (Who ever was doing Breakfrast!). It would be even better if Dominic and Quentin swapped and EMT's dream team could be reunited!
