Kathy Rotchford on East Midlands Today

Was surprised to see Kathy Rotchford on tonight's EMT's late bulletin. I don't know if it's just me, but I haven't seen her for months, she's not on their web site and AFAIK she's not been on maternity leave.

She usually does breakfast bulletins, doesn't she?

Same here, and I usually go for Clare Frisby on Look North first, watching EMT if I have time to catch a second bulletin in the morning.

No not really maybe sometimes but since Mel Coles has come back Priya has been dropped. And Lindsay Brook and Carol Hinds do cover.

Kathy's profile is still on the web site, but a a features reporter rather than a presenter. She stopped being a presenter full time last summer to become a features reporter.

Surprised to see Lukwesa presenting today's 3.20 summary. Wonder if she'll be on the late news, because Sarah-Leigh did the lunchtime weather and Sara was on location this evening. Perhaps she'll do a Lisa Dransfield and become a regular presenter.

I have heard Lisa was the EMT weather presenter but when and was she as good as she is reading the news??

Lisa was the weather presenter from 1997 to 1999 (Between Rob Glass and Sara Bilzzard). She was good at it, although the EMT website says she began presenting because she got the forecast wrong one too many times. I think this is a joke, though!

i tell you what i would do after just having watchedan east midlands news over the inertnet
i would put Kathy in the evening at 6 30 get it back up in quality its awful at the moment even Anne has gone rather miserable and seems to not have any pasion about presentingtghe news anymore, she was soo much better on GMTV early years!!!There is no chemistry, and those awful chairs have just got to go and they need more space so they dont look like they gonna sit on top of each other. I would get rid of Dominic too he too has become dreary and i generaly swich off and when i am at my friends will watch west midlands : Nick owen rules soo much better or i will watch Harry and Krista on Look North they have it perfect!!!!! and they have a great set: sofa and newsdesk!!! come on east midlands time for a serious re vamp!!!

I tell you what I'd do, having just read your post - I'd send you back to school to learn English again.
