Here's the summary of Building the Dream, airing on ITV1 every weekday at 2pm and 5.30pm.

12 couples work together to build a new house here in the UK. Each week they must vote for a couple to leave. When 2 couples remain, the viewer's vote for the winner.

Here's the summary of Trouble in Paradise, beginning next Thursday at 9pm on ITV1.

7 couples work together to refurbish a B&B house in Spain. Each week they must vote for a couple to leave. When 2 couples remain, the viewer's vote for the winner.

How can they get away with launching two shows side-by-side which have exactly the same format?

Tip for ITV: Leave the property shows for Channel 4 who do a good job at producing informative and entertaining programmes on the subject!

How about:
10 couples work together to revamp itv. Each week they must vote for a couple to leave. When 2 couples remain, the viewer's vote for the winner.

Trouble in Paradise (TIP) has been dropped after 2 weeks from the 9 p.m. slot on a Thursday, and dumped in a Monday death slot. With ratings of around 12% for the opening two episodes, it is not surprising. Five episodes remain, and will transmit at 23.05 hours from 17 May. The ever popular ? from Hell series, replaces TIP.

If I had to watch either ? from Hell or TIP, on pain of death, I'd sooner watch ? from Hell, most definately. Although death is actually the most attractive option.

They've already done this, the shareholders voted and the accountants won!
