How many channels is Glen Thompsett on? Whether he is either a V/O or a presenter he is always on, don't get me wrong he is a good V/O and presenter but he is on tons, frankly I am suprised it hasn't killed him, as I have seen him on
There was a poor announcement at 1.20am last night on ITV1.
All she said was " ........ You're watching ....... ITV1 .......... "
She obviously couldn't come up with anything to say about the next programme or any programme by the sounds of it. If this is an example of creative ablities, what were the auditions of those who didn't get the job like?!
Yeah,
Interesting that night time announcements are now recorded (which I think started this week) with one of the regulars baby-sitting. (just in case it all goes belly-up)
Anyone hear the new girl introducing Tonight with Trevor. she said " Now Trevor Tonight!!!....Trevor tonight what????
Won't be long before the ITV1 Annos go the Westcountry route. Doing 12 hour shifts from mid-day to midnight. Just a thought.

You sure about the overnight recorded continuity? I was under the impression that LNN was contracted to provide live continuity overnight?
A way to tell will be to see when David Allan is on, and whether he still says stuff like "It's now 27 minutes past three, Lloyd Bracey is here with the headlines".
I'd like to know when the ECPs are recorded, can't the person on shift do them whilst the programmes are on, but sometimes it'll be a different person to who is announcing?

It's interesting this as I thought Paul Seed was the live announcer overnights this week .
I see that another Alright on the Night is due this weekend - the rather confusingly-titled "All-Star Special". (It's mostly stars that appear on the Alright series anyhow....)
Can we expect to hear the dulcet tones of either Glen or Trish introducing Denis Norden this time round?
