There is NOTHING stopping anyone from the British isles going to France, Germany etc and appearing on there local Got Talent series, which people have done.

I believe a lot of French people cross the channel to enter BGT as there isnt a French equivalent.

Not True, French has had seven series already.

Sorry, my mistake. It's still one of our closest neighbours so it's unsurprising we have some French contestants. Would people be so aghast if an Irish act won?

You need to be very careful in that area. Britain's Got Talent is shown on UTV, the ITV franchise for Northern Ireland, so of course Irish people can vote.

If you mean people in the Republic, then in some cases on some shows they can I think.

It's worth remembering that the Republic and Northern Ireland overlap in lots of ways when it comes to Ireland. (I think that people who live in the North can, for example, either represent the Republic of Ireland or Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the Olympics)

I think they can in X Factor, but it's not been the case every year.

Yes.

Interestingly when Sky took over Living, Britain's Next Top Model became Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model. Not really as catchy though, is it?

BGT was shown in the RoI by TV3. This suggests complete with ability to vote: http://www.tv3.ie/britains-got-talent/bgt-vote-tnc.php

I see that 'The Chase' is destined for America. Bradley Walsh won't be hosting but atleast one of the members of the UK show has made it: Mark Labbett or 'The Beast' as he is most commonly known is the only chaser on the show.

Thanks for that old news. You've not even told people it's only about 7 episodes and it's on GSN which is basically their Challenge equivalent.

Well I'm awfully sorry Confused

Eight episodes have been recorded and the show will air on American game show channel GSN. Oh, and the show will be hosted by Brooke Burns Wink

OK, the presenter is newer news. Not that it means anything to me, having never heard of her. I hope she can have some decent banter with Mark.

I know it's not quite programming per se, but ITV Player 3.0 has gone live on iOS this morning, basically it now offers ITV Player Premium for £3.99 per month, with that you get live access to ITV3 and ITV4 and no adverts with the programmes on Player.

Can't see many people forking out for this, also more stupidly that every ITV channel is available on TV Catchup and there's far less faffing about with that app.

Northern Ireland can always vote with the usual UK phone number as it is part of the UK , TV3 in the republic overlaps the graphic on x factor and britains got talent that says " The Voting number changes every week go to (tv3 website here) for full list of numbers " or something similar to that.
