I'd be surprised if they'd be able to, given the regions. They can probably replace programmes with a slide on +1 at short noticed but the other way round might be more difficult. I suspect the breakdown will be on +1 as broadcast.

Or maybe there fix the timings? Is that possible? Because the second part played out in full.

When it comes to +1 it seems the only options are either as broadcast, or a blanket 'this programme is unavailable' slide. This applies to other broadcasters as well, like with Channel 4 covering up its news blunder last week.

How is this breakdown going to look for catchup viewers watching on ITV Hub ... ?

3e here in Ireland seem to have replaced the show completely with something else. The EPG on Horizon shows The Nightly Show as being on, yet at the minute is an old TV3 repeat.

Because it's pre-recorded it presumably will have no interruption.

None of the programme was lost, it just came back from the break a bit later than expected, so I expect the ITV Hub version will look normal.

STV crashed back into the show, but didn't miss much.

STV wouldn't have missed much if they'd missed the whole show.
London Lite and Whataday gave kudos

+1 is playing out the fault uncut. Is ITV+1 even monitored at this time of the night or is it all automated? Could explain why they're playing the fault out in full.

You would have thought they'd have solved the disruption for ITV+1.
