I was just wondering if any of the following rang a bell for any of you:
ITV programme (possibly) - Scouse girl with big loud jumpers and short hair, seeing a guy called Malcolm, tall and a bit boring (was recently on Casualty)
I used to love Watching, probably one of the finest sitcoms to be on ITV, and it lasted for a long time too and the quality never died down IMO. They too ended the last episode on a high note. It was shown on Granada Plus a couple of years ago and it was still funny even though it was made in the late 1980's. Though like other decent ITV programmes, ITV haven't bothered to show an episode, the last time they showed it was in memory to the creator of the show as he had then recently died.
#It was bordem at first sight#
#you could hardly call him right#
#he was always mr ???????, so what do I see in him?#
....#but then I'm not blessed with charm#
#I bring chaos where there was calm#
#so the question should be what does he.....see in me?#
Also featuring Perry Fenwick (Billy Mitchell in EastEnders) as Malcolm's colleague in the menswear store. Classic comedy.
Yeah, I think it was around 6.30ish on a Sunday evening, before Cilla's Suprise Suprise...(I maybe completely wrong about Suprise Suprise, maybe it just FELT like a Sunday night show???)
