I reckon this could run for a couple of years before I tire of it.

Unfortunately, one of the writers is on another forum I post to - and it looks like this is the last series. Not because of ITV - but because Harry wants to do something new.

(Something with the same kind of format, but with a broader remit, was mentioned.)

In a way I hope this is and isn't true. Though as much as I really like TV Burp and it is probably the best show on ITV at the moment, you don't blame him for ending it while it's still on a high rather than letting it go down the pitts.

Though lets see what he comes out with, as he apparently has a good contract with ITV.

I prefer this series of TV Burp compared to the old Sunday night version with the Hamiltons getting fired from a cannon. And some guy who wanted to be a butterfly every week.

Each of Harry Hills shows gets better everytime, so bring on the next show.

His Channel 4 show was terrible, who can remember that, the same old catchphrases every week, and the Savlon and everything

But he's great now, roll on his next project Very Happy

Love the Harry Hill show but ITV repeats it too much

I think the last show that was transmitted, was the best out of all of them so far... and as mentioned earlier... it is getting better as it goes along! shame it's not on earler e;g prime time....

The down side of all this comedy being on ITV1 at once means soon they are all going to end and there will suddenly be a comedy shortage as maybe it should all be spread out throughout the year, Jon Culshaw finished last Wednesday and Harry Hill finished this weekend, Hardware and 2DTV have two weeks left.

Anyway, this week's final TV Burp was funny as ever, it was good the way he did the 'drunken singing' gag again, so only regular viewers would know why it was funny. What would you say were the funniest bits from this series?

You are right about ITV Comedy, they have some gems but they do throw them all out at once, though nice as it is, it isn't a good idea. If Hardware has been recomissioned then it will probably be back next year, 2DTV is apparently coming back in the Autumn and Harry Hill we don't know about.

But my favourites this series have been:

- Club Reps
- Coronation Street Pigeons
- TV Extra of the week; the Emmerdale extras
- Shergar and the detective
- If TV kept going worse
- Footballers Wives
- There's something about Jesus
- Goldilocks and the Three bears - Was it true?

I'm sure there are loads more, but they're the most memorable

Don't forget the Corrie gas cannister turning into Liz McDonald, one of the funniest things I've seen all year!

My favourites:

"Don't you hate it when you mistake a mole on your face for a fly in your mirror" - with the ex-Eastenders bloke off The Bill shaming his mirror up.

Harry's clips from Footballers Wives, and other programs where the actor speaks but it's so unclear what he/she says, and it cuts to Harry: "Eh?"

"Two bottles of Stelberg please Shelley" - Nick in Coronation Street.

Harry: Here's a good name for a driving instructor. Cuts to clip: "Louise Skidmore is about to take another nervous young teenager for their driving test".

Isn't it funny how people end up looking like their: "statues, fuseboxes, front doors" though eh?

Coronation Street puts the Mike back into Microwave, genius.

I'm not a big fan of the sketches, I just like the way he constantly takes the piss - very good indeed.

I agree with all of these.
However what has just slightly annoyed me for the last few shows is the way he has been trying to make it look asif he's infront of a live audience.
He pretends to be suprised when they clap however its always the same clapping sounds unless they have the same audience every week.

There is a live audience. Actually, I think there's a report from a forum member in this thread somewhere, who went to a recording.

Incidently, I've sent a angry e-mail to Scottish TV as they've dropped the Monday night showings (as they don't show the Friday night/Sunday afternoon slots). The only chances Scottish/Grampian viewers got to see the last two episodes was at midnight on Saturdays. Both of which I missed.... Evil or Very Mad
